Hi, cyberspace! Yes, I did not vaporize into a shapeless cloud of steam in a puff of smoke. We– er– forgot that this site even existed for……erm…. Well, let’s say a looooong while. I actually thought that this site was the thing that vaporized. Well, now that we’ve worked out that I now exist (well in the cyber world again) , we’ll get to the post.

we canned peaches a short while ago, and I am here to make a document of this important event before we forget.

Here goes!

This is the perfect peach. Let’s call it…. Mr. Perfect P.

Here he is, no holes, bruises, or bad spots, all ready to go on a journey of a lifetime.

First, Mr. Perfect, a lovely hot tub at to your favorite temp (boiling).Next, a dip with some other peaches in a ice-cold public pool.(That’s Mr.Perfect there, at the top.)

Then, a soothing massage by our best artists in the art of massages.Oh no! your skin came off?You need a shot to (hopefully) fix the problem with your epidermis.-wait a sec, why are you using a knife?

oh well. Into the can you go, Mr.Perfect, sir!

Here with other hurt peaches, you will experience a new high-tec healing operation with a new healing syrup.

Now we seal on the lid for germ protection,

And steam, to activate the syrup.

There! Now wait for years until someone opens the can and lets you out.

Farewell for now, Mr Perfect Peach!

A new beginning

We’ve tried to keep this site up-to-date in the past, but haven’t done a very good job at it. Since there’s been a lot going on this summer, we’ve decided to turn it over to the kids and let them run it. We’ll see how things turn out!

Climbing Monkeys

Well, we have a new favorite pastime. Jessica bought me a new rope and belay device for my birthday last month, I dusted off the old climbing shoes, and we splurged for a kid-sized set of shoes and harness. All we had to wait for was the weather to break, (which it mostly did this last weekend) and head off down to the local crag. The Friday’s trip was a blast so we went Saturday too. Good times.

I had fun jumping on the tramp when it was snowy. I jumped off the tramp and that was fun too.

Also, making a snowman was fun. Here is a picture of him. His name was Baby Snowman.

We wanted a funny-face picture, so we did one and this is it. It was fun in the snow, and that was the day that we made Valentine’s day cookies for Valentine’s day. On Valentine’s day, we checked out Daddy’s work.

My Dad woke us up really early last Friday- I didn’t know what to think. ”Where are we going?” I asked him. He said ‘’skiing.”

So we ate breakfast, and got in the car and drove and drove and drove and drove and drove. when we finally got there we had to park all the way in the back and walk (with our skis) to the ski place. We took (what I think was the longest ski lift ever)up the mountain and then the mountain was so steep we had to zigzag down the mountain but I crashed a million times! Jonah did too. then we found out that the kids’ park was across the street. So we went there and skied and skied and skied and skied and skied.It might not have sounded fun (oops) but it was awsome
